Competitive Intelligence Specialist

Objective: Support the organization by gathering, integrating and delivering market and competitive intelligence data.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide competitor & customer profiles and industry overviews to internal customers
• Establish a comprehensive network of information sources to allow constant flow of data
• Responsible for engaging in market/competitive intelligence activities using multiple sources to track competition and identify industry trends and opportunities
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management, sales, marketing and development personnel per prioritization
• Create a good communication flow with internal customers, to make sure their intelligence needs are met while receiving their input and knowledge
• Perform other market/competitive intelligence tasks as needed
• Be part of other projects of the department, taking an active role in them

Main interactions:

• Internal customers: from top management to category & market MDs, as well as marketing, sales and product development people

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities:

• 1-3 years of experience in competitive or market intelligence, or relate fields
• High proficiency in English - strong written and oral skills
• Analytical mind and critical thinking
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate and communicate with colleagues
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
