Marketing Researcher and Data Analyst

Kenes is looking for a highly motivated Marketing Researcher and Data Analyst to support congress management, marketing activities, and business development for Kenes International’s clients, through the preparation of background profiles of the clients and their competitive landscape. To provide the organization with forecasts of future event turn-outs based on internal data of participant behavior patterns, and to prepare special research reports for projects on demand.

Responsibilities

  • The Researcher independently maps out the knowledge requirement for each project, identifies gaps in the existing knowledge and devises solutions to fill those gaps
  • The Researcher produces research reports that include the overview of the client’s background and competitive environment for each of the company’s events in a timely manner
  • The Researcher creates and applies queries to scientific databases and quickly assimilates medical and scientific information from multiple sources, distilling the essence into written reports in a clear and communicative fashion, for the layperson
  • The Researcher supports the business development projects and new initiatives that company rolls out on demand
  • The Researcher prepares forecasts based on analysis of past and current participation patterns and delivers them in a timely manner

Skills and Qualifications

  • Be a self-directed learner with an inquisitive nature and an analytic mind
  • Excellent reading & writing skills in English
  • Be computer & information literate with an emphasis on Excel skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and a good team player
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Highly detail-oriented

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/ business/ social sciences, or a related field – an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in research, statistical data, analysis and interview techniques – an advantage
  • Specify market research, analytics, and experience with preparation of RFPs for research projects
  • International experience in a global work environment
  • English level – native or mother tongue, other European languages – an advantage
  • Excellent computer skills, including all Microsoft Office programs
