Digital Humanities

Digital humanities is a new interdisciplinary academic field that began with the early days of computing but took off in the 1990s with the advent of the World Wide Web (WWW). Digital humanities refers to different computer applications used in research or teaching of fields defined as humanities and aims to expand and redefine traditional humanities research through digital tools.
