Scientometrics (Science Evaluation)
Scientometrics is the use of scientific tools, mainly from quantitative worlds such as statistics, machine learning, and more, to investigate, model, and understand the scientific realm and its different actors. Among the many resources used in this field is the large-scale use of data to develop evaluation methods of scholars, studies, and research institutes, understand their in-between dynamics over time, predict changes in the scientific landscape, detect unusual phenomena, and provide objective tools for shaping sound scientific policy.
