JEWDIT LAB - JEWISH DIGITAL

Welcome to JewDit, a groundbreaking laboratory for the development and implementation of advanced digital tools for the analysis, research and accessibility of information and texts in the field of Jewish Heritage.

The lab heads are:
Prof. Maayan Zhitomirsky-Geffet  (Information Science, Bar-Ilan), Dr. Binny Katzoff (Talmud, Bar-Ilan), and Prof. Jonathan Schler (Computer Science, Holon Institute of Technology).

The lab members are:
Dr. Avshalom Elmalech (Senior Faculty Member, Information Science, Bar-Ilan), Dr. Inna Kizhner (Postdoctoral Fellow, Bar-Ilan and Haifa), Nati Ben-Gigi (PhD student, Bar-Ilan), Dr. Omri Swissa (Postdoctoral Fellow, Brown University, USA), Sarah Minster (PhD student, Bar-Ilan), and Dr. Avital Zadok (Postdoctoral Fellow, Haifa).

The lab is engaged in several projects, including:
RESPONSANET (funded by the Ministry of Science), JEWISH BUBBLES (funded by the Israel Science Foundation), JGLOBE, and more.
